Zombieland 2: Double Tap was banging – full of action, kitsch, and humour.

Another date night for us, and I was not expecting to like this movie…and I more than liked it!

Rob says…

“I’d see it again…”

Kristin says..

“I didn’t see the first one and I didn’t feel I had to. The cast was awesome and the movie moved along – it did NOT drag like a zombie.

I loved the locations and how they created an alternate Americana post-zombie apocalypse. I always wanted to explore an abandoned mall – too cool. And if you are an Elvis fan, you’ll totally dig this movie. I’m not the hugest fan, yet I really enjoyed the nostalgia.

Despite it being a zombie movie, it wasn’t too scary. It was more funny and thrilling than frightening. The cast was stellar. Rosario Dawson kicked it – and Abigail Breslin was sassy. I loved the strong women roles here…and their curves. It was refreshing and uplifting. And special guest star Luke Wilson is ALWAYS a treat. I was pleasantly surprised that Woody Harrelson was a such a hefty lead – who knew?

Let’s talk music – “Burning Love” is still playing in my mind and I can’t get enough of it. And a good rendition of “Hound Dog” fit perfectly with all the vintage. So did “Free Bird.” Throw in “I’m Alright” from Kenny Loggins and you’ve got the perfect set up for some surprises from the first flick. The modern takes of classic tunes kept this movie fresh and fun for all ages.

I’d tap this movie again – just to see Rosario Dawson and her bad self. And now intrigued to see the first.”

Zombieland 2: Double Tap is now playing in theatres. Don’t drag your heels to see this kickin’ flick.
