Silvermoon Northlands has officially re-opened, marking a fresh chapter for the beloved Christchurch retailer. Originally founded by Simon Thwaites, the business changed hands in 2017. Earlier this year, Silvermoon went into liquidation, prompting Thwaites to reacquire and revitalise the brand in August 2024.

Since its relaunch on August 23rd at Riverside Laneway, Silvermoon has been on a growth trajectory. A second Christchurch store opened at The Hub on November 1st, and now, Northlands shoppers can once again enjoy Silvermoon’s offerings in its original store location—completely transformed with new staff, branding, and colours.
